Manchester Learning Disability Partnership is a joint service between Manchester City Council (Adult Social Care Dept.) and Manchester Primary Care Trust.

The following paragraphs give information about the kinds of services you could work in.   Information on how to apply is at the bottom of the page.

The Supported Accommodation networks support approximately 168 adults to live in their own homes throughout Manchester.

We also have a number of Day Centres across the city.

Our Domiciliary Support Services provide support to people living independently in the community. They have a wide range of support needs. Some may need advice and support with budgeting or cooking meals. Other people require full physical assistance with all their daily needs. This may include support to get up in the morning, washing and dressing, or completing household tasks.

We are looking to recruit Casual Bank Support Workers to work alongside existing support staff, providing cover for annual leave, sickness and vacancies. We offer flexible working hours with a competitive rate of pay - this includes enhancements for working evenings, weekends and Bank holidays.  It is a great way to get started on a career in social care.
