What is a Behavioural Support Worker
What is Psychology and Behavioural Support - P.a.B.S
We aim to develop a clear understanding of why people act, feel, and think in the way that they do. We apply psychological theory and knowledge to a wide range of problems, in order to assess, intervene and support individuals and their families and carers. We work with people experiencing emotional and mental health issues such as low mood or anxiety, recovery from trauma or loss. We also work with individuals and their families and carers to solve problems of challenging behaviour as well as working with people with complex needs such as Autistic Spectrum Disorders and profound and multiple disabilities. In addition to this we also complete neuropsychological assessments of people's cognitive abilities. We also spend time involved in research and the training of others.Click here to go back to CLDT
