Buckthorn House
Buckthorn House is on Nell Lane near Chorlton. It is a small centre attended by people living locally. Activities take place at Buckthorne and in local commmunity venues too. Close contact is maintained with our larger centre, Oakwood Resource Centre so people have the chance to keep in touch with friends while staff have access to good support. Buckthorn House is also a local community resource used by groups and organisations catering for young and old in the area on a sessional basis - although its main function is to provide daytime lifestyle activities for people who are significantly learning disabled.
