Buckthorn House

Buckthorn House is a house with an extension situated off Nell Lane, Chorlton, on the edge of a housing estate. The people who are supported at Buckthorn House are encouraged to accessing the community frequently. They link in with various activities involving people who are supported at Oakwood Resource Centre where they have the chance to meet some of their friends. Buckthorn House provide various community activities on a daily basis depending on the needs of people who attend. Some people like to go for short walks, swimming, shopping trips etc; or enjoy a visit to the local park and other places of interest. There are several in-house activities varying from art & craft, tabletop games, aromatherapy and rebound therapy.
