Forrester House

Forrester House is closing!   A new building in Levenshulme, Tabberner House has been opened as a base for 25 people who used to go to Forrester House. It offers much better access to local resources, and it is a better building. We plan to move the remaining group of people out of Forrester House by April 2008.

Forrester House is a two storey building situated on Blackwin Street, West Gorton. Activities provided at Forrester House include computers, dance and movement, advocacy group, bingo, sensory food tasting, karaoke, personal presentation, gentle exercise, relaxation, cook & eat, hand & foot massage, team games, art & craft, movement & dance, flower arranging, table top games, photography. A musician offers individuals a 2 hour therapy session once a week. Outside activities include sports, swim, sauna, rebound therapy, photography, horse riding, college courses, sports & swim and day trips.
