Withington Hospital is an outreach site based in the Disabled Service Centre at Withington Hospital. The site offers the opportunity for people who access the service to develop their skills in a sheltered environment. The following tasks undertaken include:- Physiotherapy Room Change pillowslips, tidy equipment table, wipe handrails, mirrors, walking frames and chairs. Reception & Waiting Room Stack magazines, wipe tables and chairs. Play Rooms Supply paper towels and tidy away toys. Washrooms Supply paper towels & soap, wipe basin, and refill toilet paper. Wipe all handrails. Kitchens Clean fridge, wipe tables, & chairs, toaster, microwave, put magazines away, wash, dry & put away dishes. Fitting Room Supply towels & soap; wipe handrails, tidy magazines, and wipe pictures within easy reach. Conference Room Clear and tidy after meetings, convert to lecture room, clear crockery after meetings and await collection. Stores Break down boxes until flat and take them to the skip. Ground Maintenance Remove litter from car park, weed training area, lawn, paths and rake fallen leaves.
