Manmedia
Not everyone can read but most people watch or listen to television..........
Media is an extremely effective means of producing quality communication.
Manmedia coordinator Nigel Hoar directed a documentary ’Care Free’ which has won a 'Royal Television Society' award, a regional BBC award and a film festival award.
Carefree depicts three dedicated carers, the mothers of children who are severely disabled. Humour and compassion are compellingly evoked as the film documents the carers' preparations for a well-deserved break in Blackpool. The filmmakers, granted remarkable access by the families, provide an essential voice to those often ignored by mainstream media.
