Film about Adult Placement

A short film has been made to explain what Adult Placement involves and to help us recruit more carers..

It shows Adult Placement carers supporting people within their own homes and out and about. Manchester Adult Placement Service supports adults with a variety of needs, throughout the city, including people who are Learning Disabled, Physically Disabled or who have Mental Health needs.

The film highlights some of the people in adult placements or supported lodgings and includes both views from the people who use the service and from the people who provide that support. This kind of support can radically change people's lives providing the opportunity to live in a family setting and participate in ordinary activities.

We need to recruit people that reflect the diversity of the city to enable us to expand the service. A range of training opportunities and regular support are given. You would be a self employed carer/provider receiving a financial package.
