Tom McLean
Part time quality development officer with a back ground in learning disability nursing. Retired from full-time NHS employment after many years at Calderstones -which he would like to think he closed down but which still continues albeit in a smaller and changed guise. He is interested in aspects of inclusion, of personal autonomy for people with learning difficulties and of ways of achieving this.
Current projects within the partnership include work on self advocacy, inclusion of people who use services in the staff selection process, end of life care pathways, mental health care pathways for people with learning disability
